Michael Rodriguez has proudly served in public broadcasting for over 20 years. As WOUB Public Media’s Director of Production Services and Student Development, he leads a team of very skilled multimedia production professionals. He also is the point person for more than 150 Ohio University students who participate in numerous volunteer capacities in all media platforms at WOUB each year. Michael continues to be Executive Producer for award-winning student programs – Hardwood Heroes, Gridiron Glory. Michael has directed, produced, written, and collaborated on numerous university and external projects.
Michael is an active member of the Diversity Committee within the Scripps College of Communication and enjoys being faculty advisor for energetic students in the Scripps Hispanic Network.
He stays engaged professionally by serving as a National Trustee for the Ohio Valley region of the National Academy of Arts and Televisions Sciences.
He is a native of the great southwest state of New Mexico. He holds a Masters of Public Administration degree from Ohio University and a Bachelors degree from New Mexico State University.
