Joseph P. Koskovics is a television & media professional from Northern Ohio with over 40 years of experience. Beginning his professional work as a freelance camera and audio technician, his projects ranged from concerts and sports venues to documentary and short form productions for a variety of clients. In 1981 his career moved to Cuyahoga Community College Media for over 35 years.
In 1990 his assignments would include Lead Technician for the Cleveland operations of the Community College Satellite Network. In 1999, he would be promoted to Cable Operations Manager for CCC, and take the facility to 24-hour operations.
In 2000, Joseph produced and hosted the local technology program TECH, which garnered him three Emmy®nominations in the Lower Great Lakes Chapter of NATAS, in addition to three Telly Awards, and two Paragon Awards. In 2004, Joseph was moved to Special Technologies and Productions as well as returning to freelance production as a writer, producer, and editor in the Northern Ohio region. In 2013 he would be promoted to Manager of Media Engineering at CCC.
Joseph has served the Lower Great Lakes Regional Chapter of NATAS since 2003 as a Governor, Emmy® Awards Chair, First Regional Vice-President, Advisor to the Chapter President, Alternate Trustee, and Trustee. Joseph also serves as the Rules Committee Chair to the NATAS national organization.
His hobbies include photography, and historical research. Joseph is also an Amateur Radio Operator, holding an Amateur Extra Class license.
