ABC TO BROADCAST THE 33RD ANNUAL DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS

The 33rd Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards will be broadcast live on the ABC Television Network during primetime on Friday, April 28, (8:00 p.m. -11:00 p.m., ET) from Hollywood’s Kodak Theatre, it was announced jointly by Brian Frons, president, ABC Daytime and Peter Price, president/ceo, National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. This will mark the first time the Daytime Emmy Awards will be broadcast from Hollywood in the 33-year history of the award ceremonies.

Kodak Theatre is the crown jewel of the Hollywood & Highland Center retail, dining and entertainment complex located in the heart of historic Hollywood. The 3,400 seat theatre opened in November 2001 and soon thereafter became known to more than one billion people across the globe as the first permanent home of the Academy Awards®.
